What the archive records
Zayaan Bawany was born and raised in Karachi, studied at Bayview Academy and the Karachi American School, and read marketing at Lancaster University in the UK, where he ran sold-out student events including a rival graduation ball that became the official one. Back in Karachi in 2018, a certified personal trainer with fruit-drying machinery in his luggage, he instead co-founded Ticketwala in 2019 with his oldest friend Zayan and Rehan. The platform has ticketed thousands of events and now also manages artists under its Source Talent brand.
