What the archive records
Electrical engineer trained at Purdue University, where he completed his PhD in electromagnetic wave diffraction and co-created the field of scatterometry. Returned to Pakistan to help found GIK Institute, served as executive director at HEC from its inception in 2002 through 2012, served as vice chancellor at LUMS, and was founding rector of the University of Central Asia in Bishkek. Now leads Knowledge Streams, a Lahore-based IT boot camp.
