What the archive records

Farhat Hussein, who, after losing his standing in business, took a job at a textile factory in East Pakistan in the lead-up to 1971. He was caught inside the war, taken prisoner, and held in India for roughly two years before being repatriated after the Simla Agreement. He later returned to the same company and spent nearly three decades there, eventually moving into its accounts.
