Haider Ali Khan is CEO of Dubizzle Group MENA and a member of the group board. He spent his first eighteen years in Pakistan, studied electrical and computer engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, and worked for fifteen years in The US in hardware engineering, firmware, and application software — including a stint at Silicon Labs and a long run at National Instruments where he ended up running a 160-person engineering organisation. In 2014 he moved to Dubai to take over Bayut. The group now owns Dubizzle, Bayut, Zameen.com, OLX in Pakistan, and a network of property and classifieds verticals across MENA, and most recently raised at a billion-dollar valuation.
