What the archive records
Irfan Wahab Khan is the chairman of EasyPaisa, the digital financial services platform spun out of Telenor Pakistan in partnership with Ant Group. He was Telenor Pakistan's first employee in 2004, later served as its CEO, and was instrumental in convincing the group board to enter financial services — a push that led to the launch of EasyPaisa in 2009 under Pakistan's branchless banking regulations. He is based in Singapore at the group level.
