Malik Amin Aslam is a UET-trained electrical engineer who became a World Bank and UNDP climate consultant before entering politics. As Imran Khan's climate-change adviser he authored Pakistan's climate policy and led the billion-tree tsunami, its ten-billion-tree successor, and the Recharge Pakistan programme. He comes from a long-standing political family from the Attock area.
