मुझे मुझे तो I want to get into that you know get to know you a bit more. Where were you born? Early life आपने कहां पर गुज़ारी है? Education कहां पर ली? Tell me a bit about what life was like before you know you started creating content

and what were some of the themes growing up जिसकी वजह से आप ऐसे हैं जैसे हैं? Sir यह तो इसको कोई लोग childhood trauma कहते हैं और कुछ कहते हैं कि एक साधा बचपन है, एक भाई देसी सा बचपन अपना. Sir initially I was born in सर्गोदा by the way. मेरे वाले साहब army में थे. Retired as a lieutenant colonel in गुजरावाला. We settled in लाहौर and my father passed away in 2016 as I mentioned before. तो उसके बाद life जो शुरू होती है वह उसके बाद होती है. अब जो उससे पहले का सारा endeavor है वह आप कहने के मक्खनी है. अब आप फोजी थे, मोचे लगी हुई थी, Kent पर रहते थे, साफ सुथरी जगह. मतलब आप मुझे एहसास नहीं मैं अपने आप को consider करता था कि यार My father passed away when I was in क्या ले twelfth या eleventh. मैं FA fine arts मैंने choose किया क्योंकि मेरी पढ़ाई नहीं थी होती मेरे खास. तो I chose the easy way out कि यार चलो कुछ आज है. अब्बा मेरे आज जोड़ते थे कि यार तू वह पकड़ी जिसमें तू pass कर ले. Right. कोई खास वह नहीं आया मैं ideal आदमी नहीं हूं. कह लेकर वह look up करने के लिए कि पढ़ाई में बड़ा fit होगा. Zero, zero, absolute zero. तो बादल मैंने F A किया. My father passed away when I was done with my first year. फिर second year मैंने जब दिया तो second year मैंने कहा मुकाओ. I graduated with what 50 percentage in fine arts. बसा मसा पास हुए थे. फिर मुझे admission मिल गया था गहर्जीन university में. उधर डेढ़ घुसाल रहा. उधर दो options थी मेरे पास. Third semester आ गया. मेरा CGPA वन रहा था उस time पर. CGPA कहते हैं, GPA कहते हैं. I don't know. तो जो third species है. CGPA का cumulative होता है ना? हां वही था कि जो तब तक का cumulative था ना वह 1.8 था. तो उस पर ना उसमें वह निकाल देते हैं आपको. तो साथ ही साथ मेरा America का visa लग गया था. मैंने कहा अब after my father passed away life was like this कि वह ना फोज ने pension रोक ली, कमाने का ज़रिया zero. अब बाप सीधे साथे बनते थे उन्होंने कोई खास ना बचाया ना कुछ किया. अलम तो इलाह he gave us a house which is more than enough savings. तो but कह ले cash value में कुछ भी नहीं था. Instant cash अगर जो आपको चाहिए ना to survive वह नहीं था. तो वह फिर मैंने कहा कि यार अभी कुछ चलो जो पड़े हैं पैसे ही तो हम कितनी देर खा लेंगे? फिर visa लग गया. मैंने अभी by chance try किया. I got an American visa, visit visa just to be sure. मैं गुजरात से मेरा background है. हम लोग उस पर यह कीन नहीं रखते कि आप इधर से job ढूंढ के जाओ वहां पर. हम जाकर ढूंढते हैं. तो बराल मेरा visa लगा America का. I moved to America in twenty seventeen end. उधर मैं गया, उधर I started my first job as a cashier at a gas station. फिर मैंने The Times Square जहां पर बहुत लोग घूमने जाते हैं. उधर मैंने एक काम किया, एक थी gift shop थी. वहां पर काम किया around four, two, three months. उधर भी as a cashier. अब restock करना चीज़ें and cash, shares गिनना, that same shirt. बाकी फिर मैंने दोबारा एक petro Mart पर काम किया. फिर मेरे मामू थे in Canada. उन्होंने कहा कि यार borders are open If you want to migrate legally like without any hanky panky and all that shit. तो आपको work permit मिल सकता है. उन्होंने मेरा work permit का जुगाड़ कर दिया कुछ पैसे पूसे लग रहे थे. उन्होंने कहा मैं दे दूंगा. I move to Canada. तो बराल वह time गुज़रा दो को हफ्ते, वहां पर गुज़रे दो तीन हफ्ते then finally booked a cab, crossed the border, schoon. आगे मामू आए हुए थे pick कर रहे हैं. Border वाला को बताया यह यह scene है यार यह मेरे documents हैं. उन्होंने कहा ok good to go. चार पांच घंटे उन्होंने interview लिया कि अच्छा क्या scene है? कौन hire कर रहा आपको? फलाना आटी का यह वह. फिर करके eventually I move to Canada. उधर मेरा कह लें work life start हुई. अब याद रखना सबने कि मैं एक FA pass आदमी हूं. तो मैं उधर DSP तो लगने नहीं था गया. तो इन्हें जब मैं move हुआ वहां पर I think I stayed unemployed for a week. मामू का घर था. मैंने कहा यार मामा भी मामा ही होता है. आजा कितनी देर रोटी तोड़वा लेगा मुझे. तो पीछे घर भी एक है जिसके लिए मैं main आया हूं तो फिर I eventually started looking for work. I joined a factory as a like general labor. The factory में packing unpacking का काम करता था. I did that for around what do you call it two months, तकरीबन. दो महीने के लिए मैंने factory में काम किया packing, unpacking. डिब्बे होते हैं serial boxes थे. वह आ रहे हैं तीन को line में रखकर डिब्बा pack पैको. Initially, फिर उसके बाद I got my first car. मेरे पास पैसे कटे हो गए थे तकरीबन को सात सौ dollar Canadian. उससे मैंने एक Honda Civic League 2001. वह मैंने फिर अपनी job शुरू की Uber Eats साथ में. Uber Eats में skip the dishes कहते थे उस दिन और साथ में एक automotive company थी like it's auto parts delivery. Somewhat आप अगर mechanic हैं, मैं अगर manufacturer हूं parts का तो मेरे से mechanic तक का सफर मैं जो मेरी job थी वह tag कराती थी. बड़ा बड़ा VIP system मैंने कहा अरे Pakistan में भी introduce होना चाहिए. फिर मुझे वापस आए. मैंने ना इतनी गुंजाइश ही नहीं है इस चीज़ की. इतनी अक्ली नहीं है अभी. तो परल मैंने वह की सालिक वह job की. All that raw power. I want to feel it in a positive way. तो बरन फिर जी I started working towards my truck license. जो आपने इधर trucks नहीं देखे हुए Pakistan में. अब खैर आप तो time आपने काफी गुज़ार है but आपको पता है जो एक five turn truck होता है जिसको dry van कहते हैं simple वह truck and body attached होती है. इधर जो Pakistan में देख रहे उनके लिए कि जो यहां पर होता है यह सब जिसके पीछे यार वह truck art नहीं बनी होती कि यह सब मेरे मां बाप की दुआ है जिसके पीछे लिखा हुआ था. वह वाला truck उसके equivalent. सबसे पहले मैंने वह चलाया. I drove that for around six months. फिर क्योंकि जो semi truck है tractor trailer जिसको कहते हैं, जो बाइस wheeler in आसान ज़मान, और पीछे जो cargo है वह एक अलग part है. Like detached तो bodies है अगर आपने वह use करना है तो उसके लिए आपको class A license कहते थे Canada में और class one license कहते थे America में इसको. तो मैं उस, I started working towards that. I took a loan from the bank के वह साथ घर पैसे भी रहता है. I couldn't save up enough to, you know, actually get the license on cash. तो I ended up paying interest. It costed me around $11,000 to get that license eventually and five months of practice but I got the license. मिल गया जी, truck का license मिल गया जाट को. Bicegiller में चढ़ गए. दो मैंने कहा चार साल मैंने पहुंचलाया फिर. चार साढ़े चार साल. चार साल चलाया है. फिर मैंने लगा कि मैं बड़े देर का जानता हूं और माज़ाद के साथ थोड़ा सा मेरा fan girl moment भी है अभी मतलब एक बारी के साथ. बहुत देर का देख रहा हूं. Sir likewise, likewise.

मुझे यह बताएं and before I go forward I know कि लोग viewer भी sun रहा होगा कि यार अगर आपने trucking भी कर ली और trucking अब मेरा जो understanding है जो हमने बाहर से सुना है किसी बड़ा पैसा मिलता है वहां पर और ठीक ठाक है. मैं यही sun कर गया था. And generally that's that's a very emotionally, financially, socially it's a disruptive experience. But because obviously आपके वाले साहब जो थे वह वह military में थे तो आपके लिए एक एक इंतिहास ज़्यादा sheltered space से suddenly out in the in the world जहां पर वाले साहब जो होते हैं ना आपके वह आपका साया होते हैं well you begin to feel very lonely कि यार you know what मैं हूं मैं हूं और मैं ही हूं. बिल्कुल. मुझे कोई बचाने वाला उस तरह से बिल्कुल ऐसा ही है. And so that's that's an emotional toll on you and I am curious how personally, emotionally you changed after that that experience.

अच्छा sir initially seen यह था कि अब्बा ने ना training बड़ी अच्छी की थी. मैं उनको I like salute him for that कि अब्बा ने बहुत रगड़ा दिया. मतलब वैसे नहीं कि like उन्होंने पढ़ाई में कुछ नहीं कहाना कहा यार जैसे तुझे easy लगता है तू कर ले कि वह कहते हैं तू पढ़ाई के लिए बना नहीं हुआ. He knew that कहते हैं field है ना more of a people's person communication wise. अभी बैठकर अगर आप दो घंटे बात कर रहा हूं. तो वह उनको शायद पता था. तो उन्होंने मुझे जब वह retire हुए ना he retired नहीं मुझे नौकरी चाहिए, पैसा आ रहा है. I am good. मुझे ना तुम छेड़ ना मैं तुझे छेड़ूंगा इससे ज़्यादा नहीं. तो which is good I respect him for that. तो मेरा scene उलट था मैंने कहा अच्छा यार अब army में हो गया. I am sorry I don't know if your dad was in the army or not. No no he wasn't. He wasn't. Ok ok. चलिए आपको भी थोड़ा सा army brat होने का perks बता देता हूं. Gutter बांधा है घर का. Hello? हां, बंदा भेजा ok. Gutter ठीक हो जाएगा. ना मुझे पता वह कब आया बंदा, ना मुझे पता है वह कौन था, ना भेजा उसने क्या किया है? हो गया है. That is all that matters. मुझे results चाहिए. तो परेशान colonel CEO साहब का बैठा है OJ करो करो करो. तो कहीं military police ने पकड़ लेना है, बात करें. तो for example बड़ी minor सी में example दे रहा हूं. It might seem like bullshit but it has a lot of value मेरी नज़र में. Yeah. Like if you do this to a kid it has a lot of value. उन्होंने गांव अकेले भेज देना कि फलाना तेरा दादे का cousin है उसे जाकर मिलकर आ. Fourth की हुई है जाकर आज़ी लगाकर आ. अब्बा was a very पेडू गए. देसी बंदे थे. मैं like my background, my origins are from गुजरात. मैं उधर के गांव का क्या लें वड़ाईच जाटू. तो मेरा ना वह गांव से affiliation is very डांडी. अब्बा के बाद its comparatively very less but मुझे अब्बा थे. तो लेकिन बारह लब्बा के बाद it was hard. एक बार ना flip आपकी life तो बारल वह इस तरह की शक्लें खुलनी मतलब अजीब अजीब से आपके साथ hand उठते कि यार कोई आपका मामा है वह क्या देगा घर में उर्स रख लो. मैं कहूंगा मैं घर में कैसे उर्स रखूं मेरे पास? मेरे bill के पैसे नहीं है अभी. रखो रखो रखो मैंने बंदों को भी बुला लिया है. वह घर आप पहुंचोगे तो घर में मैं जब साठ बंदा बैठा होगा and now you need to feed them. सबसे बड़ा जो कह लें कि एक खटिया culture है ना वह है फोत की वाले घर में आगे रोटी तोड़ना. मज़े की बहुत होती है, मैं यह समझ सकता हूं. जो कोरमा, फोतगी का कोरमा होता है वह कहीं का नहीं होता, लेकिन भाई ज़ोलम है. जो जिस बंदे का फोत हुआ ना उस पर ज़ोलम है कि instead of dealing with grief, तो लेकिन I was somewhat sheltered in that way too कि मेरे गांव में जो तायाबूध होते थे उन्होंने सारा handle किया and all that but yes after my dad passed away तो मैंने कहा यार यह तो रोटी का ला लिया at the end चक्कर रोटी गई है. आप यहां से पकड़ो, आप degree के साथ पकड़ो, आप degree के बगैर पकड़ो. आप कुछ भी करो. At the end if you are putting value on the table be it and I personally think money wise but be it any value Then आपका फ़ायदा है वरना year of no use और हाथ थक की बात है मेरे ख्याल से, होनी भी नहीं चाहिए. आप अगर कुछ नहीं कह रहे कोई value तो आनी चाहिए ना आपसे. Specially if you are a man मेरे नज़र में. मतलब औरतों से भी आनी चाहिए but money wise if you are a man आपसे value आनी चाहिए मेरी नज़र में. तो I learned that back when I was 16. मैंने कहा ठीक है अब करना ही करना है. मैंने अब्बा के photo ने के बाद मेरे पास कुछ लाख दो जमा हुआ था. मैंने अपना gaming zone भी खोला. इधर screen 11 में लाहौर में. वह नहीं चला. फिर मैंने कुत्ते बिल्ले बेचना शुरू किए like literally literally I used to sell cats and dogs like एक shelter पर दोस्त काम करता था उस समय कहता था मुझे भेज इनकी details मैं post करता हूं. एक दो बेची हुई तो वह करते कराते कराते eventually फिर वह आगे मैंने आपको पहले ही बता दिया जो Canada move हो गए and all that. look at the end of the day whatever ups and downs you went through, you were still an officer's son. Were those in your mind just normal experiences?

नहीं नहीं sir. या लेकिन अब वही बात है कि अब उधर रिश्तेदारी exist नहीं करती या आपको पता ही होगा वहां पर यह है कि अब मामा है ठीक है वही तीन दिन के लिए. ना दुख कोई फौत हो ना तीन दिन का दुख allowed है आपको. तो eventually I got my own place and all that but उधर Canada में भी ना as such नहीं था जितना America में था क्योंकि America में एक तो status नहीं था frankly speaking. Visitor था कहीं डर रहता था कि यार पकड़ लिया है किसी ने तो ठुड्ढे मार के जलील करके भेजेंगे वापस. वही इधर वह आते हैं colonel का बेटा. हां. कुछ हाथ कड़ियां से वापस आए थे. Top 1% है of a country. कह लें. एक मुल्क 1% है जो bureaucracy में है, जो अफसरी में है. आप अगर globally जाएं तो 10% कर लें. बहुत ज़्यादा खींच के मेरी नज़र में. नब्बे फीसे तमाम ऐसी रहती है like बहुत bullshit से गुज़र के जाती है ज़िंदगी. आम ऐसे नहीं गुज़रती जिसने हमने गुज़रती देखी हैं लोगों की. तो वह एक मुश्किल क्या ना एक wake up call थी या क्या ना एक चुपेड़ थी मुंह पर कि होश करो. वह मेरी पहली job थी by the way वहां पर. उसके बाद मैं move, I moved to that वह Times Square वाली job जो gift shop थी. तो बाद वह था एक initial challenge. उधर में इतना touchy था कि मैं इधर मेरी आदत थी मैं ना call करता था, भाई को call कर लेनी, दोस्त को कर लेनी जो इधर somewhat best friend से उस time पर. तो उनको call करनी अब Sunday का दिन है एक Sunday का दिन free होता था वरना छह दिन काम होता था चौदह घंटे की shift थी average. तो step by step मतलब हफ्ते by हफ्ता नहीं, साल by साल. आप the first year is the toughest. पहला साल आपका हर जगह से खून निकलता है. तरह तरह के रंग का खून निकलता है. तो उसके बाद आपको ना पता चल जाता कहां पर चोट लगी हुई है, कहां पर मैंने मज़म लगानी है, कहां आपको मैंने खून निकलना देना है कि easy है. तो the first year was tough. उसके बाद when I move to Canada, Canada was उधर अपनी किस्म, उधर financial trouble ज़्यादा थी मुझे comparatively. अगर क्योंकि Canada is all, कह लें कि वह tour के dolls हो आने वाला scene है वहां पर. कि अगर आप corporate sector में हो, तो ठीक है, somebody are happy. But in any other labor type sector में आप हो, you can't afford anything man especially at this date. मैं वहां पर one bed apartment मैंने लिया था which is a luxury. कोई नहीं लेता. मेरी मेरे साथ मैंने कहा सख़्त time काटा मैं लूंगा. साथ एक दोस्त था उसको मैंने बोला है मैंने कहा चलो rent share हो जाएगा. तो but you know I am jumping from 2018 to twenty twenty. मतलब यह मैं दो साल खा गया अभी beach के. तो तब मैं truck चलाना शुरू हो गया हुआ था. तो बार I was paying around $1,800 for that apartment और वह Apartment 1920 का बना हुआ था. वह सब उसकी construction सोचने कैसी होगी? Bathroom की tileएं फर्श पर थी. वह वाला scene था सारा. तो central cooled नहीं था वह जो उधर आम है. अच्छा. ठीक है? वह centrally heated था. में coil ही नहीं बचाई थी पुरानी technology थी वह वाली heating थी उसकी. तो उस building का मैं rent दे रहा था. यह यह Toronto में था या यह Brampton में था? Actors are not that smart you know podcasters would not be that smart but जो comedian है ना उसने बहुत सारी areas को, aspects को इकट्ठा करके उसने system चलाना होता है. वह कोई joke नहीं कर रहा होता. वह एक तो बहुत अच्छा psychologist होता है क्योंकि वह बैठकर जाना है लोगों की psychology को constantly समझ रहा होता है और उसको track कर रहा होता है. बिल्कुल. उसने constantly research करनी होती है तब वह जाता है और जाकर एक अच्छा joke मार सकता है क्योंकि he is constantly up to date with the trends what is happening you know चाहे आप जो भी कर लेना आप अपना वह बना लें कि nonchalant आप whatever I don't really care मैं check मस्ख रहा हूं But आप कहीं ना कहीं सियासी गुफ्तुओं भी कर रहे होंगे उसमें चार चार बातें भी कर रहे होंगे. आप कहीं ना कहीं जो चीज़ें भी तो you are very aware of what is happening around you. बिल्कुल. उनका एक particular IQ आपको चाहिए होता है for that timing Run time पर जवाब देना is is the genius. Pure talent वही है बिल्कुल. Pure talent वही है. So podcast जब आप उसको podcast कह रहे हैं ना that's a different field altogether. Genre ही different है बिल्कुल. वह genre ही फ़र्क़ है. मेरे हिसाब से जो genre है वह वह late night show वाला है और वह यह है कि यार how do you, how do you create entertainment out of conversations? It's a it's a very different thing. ठीक है? और वह late night show वाला है जिस पर अगर आप उस direction में जाते हैं तो मैं तो यह देखता हूं कि यार आपके पास एक eventually you know you should ideally have like a show with like audience जिसमें आप जो है वह Live audience and all. Live audience and all of that जो कि again ताबिश has on some level showed that model. ताबिश ने stand up भी किया, stand up के बाद उसने एक YouTube पर show भी किया. YouTube के बाद उसने दिखाया कि यार what's the potential mainstream you know in the grand scheme. Think so I think you should do this show. Ma'am maybe I am from the privileged class मेरे लिए कहना आसान है सीधी बात है but practically speaking Pakistan has a very bright future मेरी नज़र में. मैं अभी इधर सारी industry अभी rise कर रही है और बड़ी speed से कर रही इतनी speed से मैंने नहीं देखी कहीं और rise करती भी. अगर आपके stand up comedian entertainment sector की बात करें, film industry देख लें, आप stand ups देख लें, आप जो भी industry media की उठाएं, उधर इतनी इतनी पुरानी लगी नहीं है कि आप जाकर वह अपनी जगह पर पहुंचे हुए हैं Hollywood and Bollywood and all that shit. तो Pakistan का तो अब अगर आप सिर्फ यह social media देख लें या stand up market देख लें, यह graph जा रहा है sir ऊपर. रोज़ नया creator आ रहा है, रोज़ वह rice नया creator ऊपर उठ रहा है, उसके followers बढ़ रहे हैं, नाम फ़ैल रहा है मतलब और यही हर जगह पर है. मतलब construction की field में बहुत जगह है, आपकी real estate में बहुत जगह है, medical में भी इतनी जगह बची हुई है. Even though medical is one of medical और engineering बहुत saturated है. लेकिन technology wise, new mind wise, something creative, something new वह सब सब there is a lot of space. एक बंदा है जिसने Pakistan में ना वह बनाए दरवाज़े के नीचे लगने वाला form बनाया जो AC की हवानी buyer निकलने देता. Sir आप सोचें उसने वह बनाया था यह पता नहीं कितने साल पुरानी बात है and he made like करोड़ों from that one product. दस और companyयों ने patent खरीद लिया बनाना शुरू कर दिया whatever but instant उसने cash बना लिया मतलब creative minds बहुत ज़्यादा है. मेरे ख्याल से जो रगड़ा है ना इस मोल का वह आपको creative बहुत बनाता है. जुगाड़ू mindset bracket में है sir कमाल के बंदे उठ रहे हैं मेरी नज़र में कि the new leaders जो आगे नज़र आ रहे हैं जो possible lead करेंगे proper इस मुल्क को जो bureaucracy में जाएंगे जो civil servants बनेंगे they are mind going people, very creative, out of the box. ज़मीन आसमान का फ़र्क है. अब बीस साल पीछे देखें जो हमारे वालदहैन और जो अभी हम हैं और जो हमारे से एक number पिछली है. ज़मीन आसमान का फ़र्क है and I think it's positive that change was needed. मैं सबसे प्यारी बात जो एक मैं कह लूं एक awareness पैसे भी कह लूं है, इस मुल्क में बैठकर मैं जब देखता हूं, मैं गाड़ी पर होता हूं, sir लड़कियां scooty चला रही हैं, it is normal now. लाहौर शहर में खसूसी, इस्लामाद में भी नज़र आई मुझे, सरगोदा में जब नज़र आई ना, मैंने कहा वाह.
