What the archive records
Dr Aasim Yusuf is a gastroenterologist and the Chief Medical Officer of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital. Born in London and trained at King Edward Medical College and in the UK, he joined Shaukat Khanum four weeks before it opened in December 1994 and has been part of its clinical leadership ever since — Medical Director from 2004, then CMO across the Lahore, Peshawar and Karachi hospitals.
