Dr. Muhammad Saleem Khan is a Lahore-born physician who trained in the first batch of Army Medical College and served twenty-four years in the army before a cardiac event ended his service. He moved into hospital management — Rehman Medical Institute, AFIC — and now runs Kulsum International Hospital in Islamabad, where he is leading the build of Kulsum Medical City, a planned 500-bed hospital with attached medical, nursing and pharmacy colleges.
